Charlie.  Charlie is totally loving retirement, finding that the classic retirement question, “How did I ever have time to work?” certainly applies.  Between the boat and the glider, he has no problem staying busy.  

 

 

 

Diane. Like Charlie, Diane is busy, busy, busy, too.  She serves on the board of our marina and was recently elected vice-President of Tacoma Yacht Club's Shipmates.  The latter will be a two-year commitment as she will become president in 2009.

 

 

 

Justin & Genevieve.  The no-longer-newlyweds live with Kael, the Wonder Dog, in DuPont, about 40 minutes south of us.  They are typically busy young professionals.  Justin serves as Financial Manager for the LOTT (Lacey-Olympia-Tumwater-Thurston County) Waste Water Treatment system.   He has taken up kayaking and spends many weekends paddling around Puget Sound.  Genevieve is still employed as a pharmaceutical researcher at the Charles Rivers Company (formerly Northwest Kinetics) in Tacoma.
